On the fifth last song before we had a break, everyone was complaining, “I want to sit down,” because their legs were hurting. But finally we had a 25 minute break. Then we had to get back to singing because we only had a couple more songs before we had to go on the bus again.
Then the bus came. I sat next to Matilda on the way there and on the way back as well. Mrs Morrissey gave all the ribbons to the girls. Then the bell rang for home time.
I had butterflies in my tummy because I was going to perform in a couple of hours.
The lights were flashing so brightly, it felt hot. For Possum, that was one of our individual songs, we had sleeping caps and our other individual song was No Mirrors in My Nana’s House. There were individual singers for certain parts of the song. I was in the second row at the top. I sang as beautifully as I could. It was the best night ever.
