We were delighted when Andrew (Coach and Mentor of Project B) invited some of our students from the enrichment classes to come and view it in action.
Here’s what we saw:
Last Friday we saw a robot. It can shoot plastic balls and drive around the room. It is made of metal. By Janaat A and Noura A (Stage 1 Enrichment)
Last Friday we went down stairs to look at the robot. We saw it shoot some balls. By Leo P and Rafah A (Stage 1 Enrichment)
On Friday we saw a robot and it can shoot balls. It can also climb a rope ladder. By Xavier J and Ben T (Stage 1 Enrichment)
We got to see an exciting project from the robotics team. They are called Project Bucephalus. Andrew is the coordinator. Their task was to make a robot and program it to do a challenge. The challenge is to get the robot to collect balls and throw them into the furnace. They also had to collect cogs to make the rest of the robot’s propellers spin. At the end of the challenge, the robot has to climb a rope. By Lily N (Stage 2 Enrichment)
